Does anyone know his stand on this Resolution?

It will have to pass the Senate, and as Senator he has a vote.

It's a very big deal. Read about it.

It is pretty much a Democratic Congress demanding that Bush take action to stop Iran's Nuclear Program.

  1. He is forgainst it.

  2. So America isn't supposed to be the "world police" yet we're supposed to halt Iran's nuclear program? I'm confused.

  3. Games and more games, they want King George to do it so the missing link want have to, both parties suck.

  4. Since it's never been even scheduled for debate, I'm sure he has no stand on it.

And Obama believes in opening a dialog with Iran over this issue, and that there can be a negotiated settlement.

  5. It is a long way from its final form, even further from debate, and it is a House Resolution, when and if it ever goes to the Senate, which it probably won't. Senator Obama will look at it, assuming he is not in the White House, which is more likely.

Since it would impose sanctions on oil companies, it will never fly. And connecting the price of oil to nuclear weapons sanctions has to be something the oil lobbyists cooked up to justify still higher prices. I predict this one will die in Committee.

  6. as far as i know obama says we should talk it out with iran and meet and sit down with them... idk if that a good or bad idea but iran says the last meeting about its nuclear program was good probably cause it was the first meeting the us had attended i don't see irans nuclear program going away and day soon thought because china just traded iran nuclear info for oil and russia also backs iran but then again im only 14 soo...idk
