  1. "Oligarchy (Greek Ὀλιγαρχία, Oligarkhía) is a form of government where political power effectively rests with a small elite segment of society (whether distinguished by wealth, family, military powers or spiritual hegemony). The word oligarchy is translated into "rule by few." Compare with autocracy (rule by one person) and democracy (rule by the people)."

    2. Soviet polit bureau, Chinese gouvernment, US gouvernment

    3. People lose interest in politics. Whatever they do, whomever they vote for, there is nothing they can alter, short of taking up arms and organizing a revolution

    4. Apart from China, nearly every "Western democracy" you care to name, where the country is run for the few with the money by politicians paid by those wealthy people/corporations

  3. Wow, all of these people (minus the one that gave you the idea to Google the term) just did your homework! Amazing!

  4. it is a two tier social ecomomic demographic.

there is no middle class so there is not very much freedom allowed, rich is right .

there is only the very rich and the very poor,

    almost no in between.

the difference in the US is as long as their is a large middle class there will always be freedoms and the oppertunity to move up economicallyand socialy.

where is it found almost every country older than the US  stagnated with that form of social demogogary. Major cause is Religion"Catholic, socialism or countrys with dictators or royal familys.
