What is PRE, POST, NEO means ?

Like........ Pre-Historical, Pre-1940, Post-War, Neo-n**i.......etc? and how do you use them differently ???

  1. Pre=before, post=after, neo=new. You can figure how to use them now, I think. ;)


  2. Pre means before.

    Post means after.

    Neo means new.

    All these type of expressions are called 'prefixes' as they are placed before the word.

    Similar prefixes are

    Anti  meaning against

    Pro meaning in favour of.

    Pseudo meaning false.

    They are used when you want to convey different meanings.

    Pre-war and post-war are short versions of Before the war and After the war.

    Neo n**i would refer to current n***s  to distinguish them form 1930/40s n***s.
