What is Paris,France like?

Im thinking about going so it would help to know if its worth it.

same as like other ueropean countries but its speaking french. the food is alright not that great. i rather go to south america or dominican or japan or something

Paris is the most popular tourist destination in the world for very good reasons.

It museums are unsurpassed. From the Louvre to the Musee d'Orsay to the Musee Branly you can view some of the most renowned works of arts from every era and part of the world.

It has a rich history which has been well preserved.  You can walk the streets that were trod by Roman legions, eat at the same table that Thomas Jefferson ate at, and wander the haunts of Hemingway, James Joyce and Picasso.

It has been the center of philosophy, literature, and fashion for centuries.

Its architecture ranges from ancient Roman to some of the most advanced and innovative in the world.

Its cuisine is excellent and varied and while its great temples of gastronomy can be very expensive the standard of day to day cooking is so high that even modestly priced meals can be transformative experiences.

Its nightlife, from glitzy nightclubs to little jazz joints to dance clubs is so varied and extensive that there is something for every taste.

If you meet someone who says Paris isn't worth visiting you can be sure that you have meet a complete idiot.

I'm from their...and the effle tower looks so cool at night and when they do the fireworks on the 4th of July and new years their its awsome!!! i'll recommend you go their around christmas time and new years when its cheap

It is very old and very beautiful. The Louvre is amazing. There are many sidewalk cafes where you can have a good meal and watch the world go by. The pastry shops are unbelievable. Prices are very high there.
