  1. Its a bedroom city mostly. Suburb of Dallas just north and east.

  2. Plano is an upscale community with nice homes, landscaped yards, convenient shopping, numerous churches, good neighborhood parks, outstanding schools, and a dedicated police force. The median age is 34.  Families make up 75% of the households. 69% own their home.  78% of the population is white. The average size family is 3.5

  3. It's quite a large city, with a wide range of housing prices (although all very nice); low crime rate & excellent schools;  lots of parks and family activities.  I think it's a little congested though...

  4. Such a broad question. Good school system. High taxes. Over zealous police. Bad heroin problem. Very much your average upper-middle class white bread town.

  5. It's like a lot of middle to upper class suburbs are.  Not a lot of originality...lots of chain stores and restaurants.

  6. Honestly, it really depends on your personality. If you're laid back, down to earth, and not preppy, I mean, it's a little difficult to get along with many people here. You get used to it, but it kind of drives you to insanity within the first 2 weeks. Stay strong and you'll be just fine. If you're just the opposite, well, Plano might as well just be what you're looking for. There are a lot of job opportunities(for teens), meaning shops, restaurants, smoothie places, movie theaters, malls, coffee houses, just about everything you can think of. Some really like it here, since it's comfortable, safe and I guess some people like suburbia. It really is a safe environment, great for starting a family. Well, I hope this helped!
