Emad El-Din Mohamed Abdel Moneim Fayed (April 15, 1955–August 31, 1997), better known as Dodi Al-Fayed, was the son of the Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al-Fayed, owner of the British department store Harrods, Fulham Football Club and the Hôtel Ritz Paris. His mother was Samira Kashoggi, sister of the notorious weapons dealer, Adnan Khashoggi.

Born in Alexandria, Egypt. In 1997, he was linked romantically with Diana, Princess of Wales. On August 31 of that year, the couple died in a car crash in Paris. Neither he nor Diana was wearing a seatbelt, and Henri Paul, the driver of their limousine was allegedly drunk.
