What is ProPay? Is it safe?

I am buying a trailer from someone, who has not revealed his location or information, and he wants me to buy his trailer through "ProPay", an online service that I'm not even sure of what it is. It sounds like PayPal, but I don't know if this is safe. I just want to know that if I do use this service I can get my money back? If anyone can give me any information of this service, I'd highly appreciate it. Thanks!

Pro-pay is a legitimate company however we just got scammed by someone claiming to use propay by having a car paid by money-gram

so if it is not local and you cannot pay the person directly in person then I would avoid it. it is now our understanding that these people are scamming on Craig's list, ebay and others. do not send money via wire transfer  pro pay helps small business deal with customers using credit card payments they are not 3rd party providers for wire transfer sales  hope this helps

you shouldn't by the trailer without inspecting it first.

It is always "buyer Beware" and "As Is"
