  1. proofreading and copy-editing are similar tasks.

Proofreading is simply reading through written pieces and checking to make sure their spelling, grammar, etc. is correct on a final copy before publication.

Copy-editing not only includes the spelling and grammar, but can also involved double-checking facts included in writings for accuracy. At many newspapers (that's the perspective I'm writing from), copy editors are also responsible for writing the headlines for stories and placing stories on the newspaper page in a manner than makes them as readable as possible.

Education-wise, having one of these jobs will require a strong grasp of whatever language you will be editing. If you're looking for a newspaper job, there's usually a preference for a degree in journalism.

  2. I am 'a teacher'; the students are tired ! ! Follow the 'Course', in 'Proof-reading'.

  3. editing the news  and arrange for printing
