  1. People already answered that it's a train, but I just wanted to provide a link to an RER map. Stations within Paris city limits include Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, Saint-Michel Notre-Dame, Luxembourg, Port Royal, Denfert-Rochereau, and Cité Universitaire.

  2. It's a train system.

"The RER B is one of the five lines in the RER urban rail system serving Île-de-France région, notably Paris and its agglomeration.

The line runs from Robinson (B2) and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse (B4) to Aéroport Charles de Gaulle (B3) and Mitry-Claye (B5)"

  3. it`s a one of 5 huge metro railways that goes through Paris and further. The one called Metro only runs inside Paris based station.

NEW in CDG airport is a useful short-metro line that makes a single connection between all terminals

  4. Its a train. The RER is a train that goes from Paris centre to the suburbs.
