  1. Orton is one of the few wrestlers in the business that uses "Traditional Style" as his choice of wrestling.  Most wrestlers have adapted more modern styles because they want to be exciting in the ring as well as on the mic...  but for some reason, Orton uses the style that wrestlers had back in the 80's, and enhances it with his intensity and stiffness in the moves.

His moveset consists of backbreakers, vertical suplexes, punches, kicks, and basic maneuvers.  He finishes with a move that was innovated by John "Johnny Ace" Laurinitis (Brother of Road Warrior Animal, and one of the WWE road agents) in the early 80's, the Ace Crusher, with only a slight modification in it coming from behind a lot, just to add to his "I'm dirty, I attack from behind" persona.

Randy Orton has evolved into the perfect "modern version" of the Classic Old School Heel.  And he plays the part almost better than his dad did...

Too bad Orton is a jerk in real life, otherwise I'd probably like him a bit more as a character.
