What is Ring of death for Xbox 360 & how is MS?

Ring of death is the green gone red. When the XBox circle lights up in part or complete, you have the ring of death.  Go to http://www.xbox.com/en-US/ and access support. You may have to call and they send a box for your system with return label. They will either repair or replace the X-Box and return it to you.  We have done this 3 times in one year because Microsoft sucks. Then after purchasing an HD LCD SONY television, and having HDTV cable, we bought the adapter for the XBox 360, only to find out the Elite version is the only one that supports the true HD connectors we paid $50 for. We sent a complaint letter to X-Box after the 3 return issues and never heard back. Great Customer Service huh?

First, try disconnecting every wire off the system. Wait about 10 seconds, then connect everything. Look at the power box. When you turn it on, if the dot is green, then the ring has something to do with the system. Is its not green, its the box.

Call 18004myxbox and ask to talk to a manager when the recording is over. It will repeat what i just said. Tell them the cerial # and they wil tell you if your under warranty. If you are, you will get a brand new system and a free month of xbox.
