"good will hunting " is my fave but ; the ones you mentioned are all excellent .  Also "patch adams " was also choice   Lets face it , it's hard to choose one over the other.  Peace to all  Evie

I have only seen part of Awakenings on TV but I turned it off because it was interesting and I wanted to watch it from the start, as of now I haven't seen it yet. I have seen the rest of the films on your list and liked them all, especially Dead Poets Society and Fisher King, also Insomnia with Al Pacino is good too. I think Dead Poets Society is my favourite.

It's a toss-up between Good Morning, Vietnam and The Fisher King, IMO.  Dead Poet's Society was a great movie, but I prefer his performance in the other two.  He strayed a bit into the sappy Williams role in DPS.

Comedy i'd go with Good Morning Vietnam or Aladdin (the genie)

Drama,  Good Will Hunting is good but The last 15 minutes of Dead Poets Sociey is one of my all  time favorite scenes
