  1. RosettaStone? It's a program to learn a new language. I have it & recommend it. You can get a free cd rom to try it right now.


  2. I'm pretty sure its a program about learning how to speak a plethera of different languages, easily, quickly and efficiently.

  3. ok .... basically its a scientific project that is using computer processing power for a disease related study

    it requires too much processing time than what is available (or can be afforded) by even a large university computer

    so what it does is splits up the project into smaller bits and downloads those to the people's computers who participate in it (donating their computer's spare, idle processing power)

    (if you have ever heard of the SETI project it worked the same way, but it's a little stupid if you ask me)

    anyway, there is a similar project called "Folding@home"
