  1. Well, Sat ias a examination particularly given by student to fullfill the eligibility creterion for the course of MBA & Engeeneriring in USA.

There is no mean of appearing in SAT if u dont know for what u apearing for.

Take precaution, be clear about ur target and than think about it.

  2. The SAT Reasoning Test is an exam given by the College Board.

This lists the dates that the exam is given:

There are three main "scores" for the SAT - Math, critical reading and writing.  Each section is worth 800 points for a max total of 2400.

There are also SAT Subject tests which one can take, but they are separate from the main SAT Reasoning Exam.

IIRC, the exam is about 4 hours long. The present cost for someone outside the U.S. is about US$70-$75.

There are no books that are required to prepare for it. There are many books put out by publishers such as Barron's, McGraw Hill, and Princeton to name a few that can help you prepare for the exam, but nothing that is required.

I do not know if scholarships are available to take the test, but scoring well will increase your chances of receiving scholarships to schools.

Check out the college board website.  They should have more answers for you, or at least a place to look for more answers, or ask them.

    Best of luck!

The test lasts around 4 hours. You do get breaks in between. You can use books from collegeboard or princeto review etc. to prepare. Collegeboard.com also offers an online course.

SAT doesn't offer scholarships but if you do well in SAT, the university you apply to might give you a scholarship. But scholarships are very limited for international students.

Some universities ask students to take subject tests. You can take subject tests in physics, maths, bio, chemistry, English and a lot of others. Usually univs. ask you to take specific subjects.Follow this URL for more info.

  4. Scholorship Aptitude Test

  5. Here's the link directly to the SAT web site.

The SAT does not offer scholarships, however, many scholarships require either SAT or ACT results from the applicants.

There aren't any books that are required to prepare for the SAT. You may order a book that helps prepare for the test by showing you the types of questions that will be asked.

Critical Reading, Math, and Writing are the basic components, but you can also add others.

The test takes about four hours. There are testing centers all over the U.S.A. and at some International sites, including a bunch of them in India and there are tests in October, November, December, January, March, May and June.

  6. SAT is Scholastic Aptitude Test, required for admission to undergraduate courses in USA.
