I have a sister who lives in Spain and she e-mails me occasionally. She mentioned that she has SKYPE and she regularlly chats to her friends. Do you need a camera?

It is a bit like msn except that it is much better for calls and you can call any tel no. in the EU austrlai China usa or cananda for 1.2p per min (if you but credit) however pc to pc is free. You do not need any extra equipment, except for a headset or usb phone if you want to make calls. You can of course go higher tech and get a box to link in your normal phone in you want. No you don't need a camera to operate Skype. You chat to someone like using a telephone. I use it about 3 times a week to call the Far East and also call mobiles in this country. Reception is normally very good and as many as 9 million subscribes can be on line at the same time as you. Cheap calls and easy to use, a must.
