  1. Well, if you prefer ralaxing places, well, I suggest you go to the south of sardinia. It is cheaper and it's not so noisy.

    Something like a paradise.

Try this website, if you like sailing and if you want to visit the whole Sardinia on boat.

  2. I lived on Sardinia for two years and loved it!! Santa Teresa is a great little town. From there you can catch a ferry to the French island Corsica. In the summer ALL of Sardinia is touristy! Santa Teresa is about a half an hour drive to Porto Cervo which is VERY upscale. Santa Teresa I highly recommend.

I don't know of any ferry you can catch from Santa Teresa to go over to La Maddalena...(That's where we lived). I would suggest driving to Palau and getting the ferry from there to visit Lamaddalena....It's a great little island with lots of beautiful beaches!! I miss it SO much....If you go,  get some gelato at gelatissimo for me!!

  3. Go, go, go, don't miss it ! And you have time, "cross the street" in Corsica. It's really THE ISLAND OF BEAUTY !

  4. Compared to other European places, no. Compared to other places on the island (Sardinia) it is about average. One of the most noticeable things about the area that you will realize is that no one is in a hurry. I say this as a compliment. The locals really know how to enjoy life there.
