  3. Beautiful city my favourite in Spain, In August it can be very very hot and not to busy. Accomodation is cheaper as well.

go to the cathedral it's magnificent. Good restuarantes also.

Hope you enjoy it has much as I do.

  4. Very nice, elegant place, and HOT, right in the center of the Spanish oven, well worth a visit, more so if you are into historical sites, some areas geared up for tourists as are many places here, but look beyond the trashy bits and you will enjoy the place.

  5. Beautiful historic city with plenty to look at / visit. Weather mostly good, can sometimes get trrential rain and thunder, gets a bit cool after November and this can last ntil late April. Never went to a club, was very happy visiting restaurants with 'live' local entertainment. Accomodation tends to be let by rooms for 2 people. Prices vary from around €45 per night, meals extra. The top end is almost unlimited. If you contact the Spain Tourist Office (either by web for Seville) or in London they will give you details of all types of accomodation + details of any fetes that are going on when you wish to visit. A good meal for the 2 of us cost from €50 including wine and coffee, obviously you can visit McDonalds (yuk) or go real posh and spend more or less as you want.

  6. If you are going to Seville (Sevilla), do yourself a favour and email Sue. She really does "love" Sevilla.

  9. Seville is the most beautiful, romantic, colorful city in the world!!  (imo).  I lived there many years ago.  Tons of very Moorish look to the town.  Very gothic, too.  Largest Gothic building in the world is the Cathedral there.

It's also VERY warm!  In the summer it gets into the 40s (110+ in Farenheit)  Winter temps rarely dip below freezing.

For accomodation...I recommend an apartment.  Here's a really good link for you...tons of info, and we took an apartment in the Centro through them, not terribly expensive, esp. considering the location!
