What is Skype???

I have Skype on my PSP but I have no idea what it is.... if it's safe.....and how much it costs.......Can anyone help me!?

skype is free online talking kinda like a web cam without the web cam  my dad introduced it to me

its an over the internet phone from what i know and it should be safe.

You can use it free of charge.  It works like messenger.  You can just chat with it or you can phone people (free through the computer) and use video to see them while you talk to them.  If you want you can also buy credit to use it to telephone regular phones.  I use it every day to keep in touch with relatives abroad and find it works better than messenger with the sound and a nice big clear picture.

Skype is a rip off... with the magic jack, gtalk and yahoo you dont need anything like skype...

its a pay to use internet telephone system...

I have skype. it's free as long as your talking to other skype users, if you use webcam then you can see the person your talking to. Since my boyfriends in the army and going to be in korea for a year i think it's wonderful!!!!!!!!

idk how much it cost, but u can talk to ppl online with it, with voice not text
