  1. it depends what culture you are talking about. if american then, its a "yes you are diffrent but we will tolerate you". if its japanese then "we are xenophobic, we like you but you are not of our herd".-blurey


  2. Humans beings being social beings lol value those that follow the majority.  Those that don't risk being outcast.  Those that don't can also acheive unique status. Those that are bold enough to show their differences will be put to the test by society.  If they are able to prove their uniqueness is a valuble contribution then they will be highly esteemed. Society needs the majority to be followers, the leaders have to be picked from those that are bold enough to risk being outcasts.
