  1. SOSUA IS EXPERIENCED , NOT EXPLAINED .

  2. Wel the gentlemen (Sanmigse) allrady told you everything about Sosua, but he forgot to say that in the night life it is also polluated with street flowers, so be carefull it can be tempting but also dangerous for your wallet. I prefer nearby Puerto Plata

a bit slower but so much safer at night, because less night flowers...

    Happy to help you

  3. I stayed in sosua last year at the all inclusive casa marina resort.

Sosua is quite small but there are two decent clubs there with plenty of locals and some good restaurants with local food. There is also a public beach and some shops selling touristy stuff.

It wasnt very expensive but im from the UK so i cant really compare prices because you always expect cheaper prices in the USA!

I would advise you to stay in an all inclusive resort as its a good way to meet lots of new people.

Im female and I went there with another female friend and we felt really safe there...very friendly locals..maybe a bit too friendly!

If you've got anymore question just send me a msg.

    Enjoy your holiday!

  4. Sosua is cool.  Hotels range from about $US35 - 75 depending on what you want (excluding the stupid all-ins, I have no idea what those stupid places cost but they aren't worth it if you want to party with ...)

Solo vacation is fine, you will meet people quickly.  The best place is to hang out on the Playa Sosua during the day, and start your night at the Merengue Club and go from there.

Other good places with action are Cabarete, Las Terenas.  If you want quiet places and/or places without tourists try Punta Rusia, Montecristi.

    I'm going next week!
