I may want to go to Flagler College in a couple years, and was wondering how life is in St. Augustine. I live in Metro ATL now for the past four years. I'm 14 and a freshman. I'm from South Florida tho. I was born in Tampa but only lived there for a couple months. Then I lived in Tamarac/Coral Springs for 5 years. After that I lived in Lake Worth which is by Palm Beach for another 5 years. In GA everyone is really southern and I hate it. It wasn't like that where I use to live. I have heard northern FL is different tho. Is St. Augustine like where I use to live? I still have family there... My parents are from NY, so I'm not really southern. Florida is the south, but not really because where I lived no one was from there. Everyone thinks I'm from NY but I have never lived there. I hate southern accents, it drives me crazy. I also don't get along great with southerners. Is St. Augustine like GA? I like St. Augustine because it is only 4 and a half hours from my grandparents and 6 hours from home. I have never been there, but my grandma just came back and said I would love it. What is your feedback. Can you tell me about St. Augustine. Thanks!

  1. I live there. It's boring. There are no night clubs if you like to go out. There are a ton of bars though.Summer is crawling with tourists and makes anything that you want to do very crowded. There are still ppl here with southern accents. It is to say the least a tourist attraction. It's not all bad though. The beach is okay and when you first move here all those attractions that ppl who live here think are boring, actually seem fun.
