What is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street rated?

I know all about the plot, but I have no idea what it is rated? Does it have gore in it, or just blood?

I saw it.  I didn't think it was all that good.  It was pretty bloody.  Definately not for kids, if thats what your wondering.

Just blood, I don't think it's very bad.

The movie is rated R for violence.  It's pretty much just blood, unless you consider shots of dead bodies to be gore.  There are also some shots of ground human flesh as meat... but it really only looks like any other meat, nothing exceptionally shocking.

It's rated R only because of the bloody scenes.

I think is rather macabre.
