  1. I swear, if anyone says Twilight...

  2. Twilight and grieve for me

Twilight is about a vampire guy falling for a human girl and little senarios happen to endanger them

Grieve is about a girl whos mum went insane and she slowly trie to repair her broken life but she has difficulties with a new step mum and school bullies etc... it sounds better if you read it

  3. the tellytubies go to market!

  4. The Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer of course!!

They are the best books I've ever read and I will ever read. A summary of these books sound a bit foolish and you have to read the books to really appreciate them. Any way they are about a boy called Artemis Fowl who is just 11 yrs old at that time but is very mature and intelligent for his age. The story is about this boy's adventures when he discovers that high tech faeries live under the world.

You must read every one of the series! =)

  5. james herbert others - horror it's fab got everything including laughs and tears x private detective who has secret hired to find a missing baby one that was taken away at birth ? but not all as it seams brilliant chilling and close to the truth x

  6. Pride and Prejudice

And, as silly as it sounds, the Bible. It's the central source for some of the most common themes in literature and entertainment today: love and hate, death and life, betrayal, sin, lust, romance, bravery etc. The mere fact that there is a Biblical allusion in nearly every novel on the planet has to speak for something.

  7. For someone to say that such and such book is the BEST book every written, they would have to be VERRRY well read. You can't just read a few books and choose one from that. Problem is, there are just so many books out there. And that it is just about impossible to read them all.

So from the all the books I have read, I say it is near impossible for me to choose one. So I have listed my favorites here.

Queen Margot: Young Marguerite is married to the King of Navarre, joining the rivaling religions in France, the Catholics and Huguenots. Just a few days afterwards, the Massacre of St.Bartholomew follows, and thousands of Huguenots are murdered. Yet the Queen is able to save the young man La Mole. They fall in love. Meanwhile, the deliciously evil queen-mother is plotting against Margot's husband, who Margot as sworn allegiance to. Together they work to stop her. Amazing book. A must read.

The Three Musketeers: Young d'Artagnan decides to go to Paris to join the King's Musketeers. He befriends three of them after challenging each of them to a duel. Together they work to save the Queen from disgrace by foiling Cardinal Richelieu's plans. Meanwhle d'Artagnan falls in love with the young Madam Bonacieux.

Those are my 2 favorites. Check out the following books too.

    -Pride and Prejudice

    -The Phantom of the Opera

    -To Kill a Mockingbird

-The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood

    -Sense and Sensibility

You also can't forget the Bible (The B-I-B-L-E! yes that's the book for me! I stand alone on the word of God, the B-I-B-L-E!)

For all those who say Twilight, please don't. You just love it because of Edward. Please read other books, you eyes will be opened.

  8. i dont no because i havnt read every book ever writen

thats th eonly way to fnd out

    but my favorite is twilight

  9. The Bible-I'm pretty sure you already have an overview ;-).

  10. In my opinion it has to be Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt.

"When I look back on my childhood I wonder how I managed to survive at all. It was, of course, a miserable childhood: the happy childhood is hardly worth your while. Worse than the ordinary miserable childhood is the miserable Irish childhood, and worse yet is the miserable Irish Catholic childhood."

So begins the luminous memoir of Frank McCourt, born in Depression-era Brooklyn to recent Irish immigrants and raised in the slums of Limerick, Ireland. Frank's mother, Angela, has no money to feed the children since Frank's father Malachy, rarely works, and when he does he drinks his wages. Yet Malachy does nurture in Frank an appetite for the one thing he can provide: a story.

Perhaps it is a story that accounts for Frank's survival. Wearing shoes repaired with tires, begging a pig's head for Christmas dinner, and searching the pubs for his father, Frank endures poverty, near-starvation and the casual cruelty of relatives and neighbors -- yet lives to tell his tale with eloquence, exuberance and remarkable forgiveness.

  11. Well I'm in a sticky situation - either Return of the King by well you know who its by or one of Jodi Picoults books. She is SUCH an amazing writer. I devour her books like candy!

  12. The Bible.

I think it can help you with anything about life.

  13. the garbage king - its a sad story but has a happy ending

  14. The People Trap and Other Stories by Robert Sheckley. It's a mix of sci-fi serious and comedy short stories. Well worth a read even if you aren't into sci-fi generally.

  15. The best one I have read is The Stand by Stephen King, I love it and read it so often i am on my third copy!

Its about a 'super flu' that gets out the lab ab wipes out 98% of the population and what happens to the survivers.  It could happen to us!

  16. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold

This book completely changed my outlook on life and heaven.

  17. Well, the BBC did a survey and found that most people regarded Lord of the Rings as the greatest book ever written, but I don't think there is just one. I think it depends on the person.

I like Pride and Prejudice, because the characters are well described, the dialogue is witty and the plot fits together well.

  18. I'm not sure you can have a definitive "Best Book", peoples opinions vary, even myself i have several, for writing style, content, sheer fantasy value etc.

Recent good find have included The Kite Runner, an amazing tale of friendship, selfishness, growing up and realisation in the middle east.

The Lollipop Shoes, the follow up to Chocolat was absolutely beautifully written and i didn't want it to stop.

The Old Man and the Sea is a classic, simple yet so intriguing.

To Kill a Mocking Bird, eye opening, worth reading for the injustice and the way decent people react to it.

  19. Twilight. It's really good. Also, Harry Potter series is also good.

  20. for me it's the noughts and crosses trilogy.

    i just love it.

it's about a nought boy callum and a cross girl sephy and what happens in their lives. It's kind of a romance in the first book but then it changes.

first book - noughts and crosses

    2nd book - knife edge

    3rd book - checkmate

the next book is coming out in november - Double cross

  21. Anne of Green Gables

I'd read that when I was 11 years old, when I hated reading. But the hate of books turned to love after I read it. It's the story about an orphan girl (Anne Shirley) who's adopted by a pair of unmarried brother and sister. It chronicles her adventures and misadventures with the people of her village. I don't know what others feel about this novel, but really it's a great book. It's mix of comedy, drama, friendship and childhood.

It's a children's book, so I think everyone thinks (I know too many 'thinks') it's ridiculous that I should love it. But, really it's a GREAT books. I wanna know if anyone agrees with me.

  22. 'Before I Die' is a good one.

Jane Downham i think it is written about.

But Twilight Saga is really good.

I don't care what anyone says about the books being rubbish.

Thousands of people love the books.

So enough from people saying that they are teenage rubbish.

  23. Wriggly, that's my favorite book!!!!!!

I'm going to say the Bible on this one. Think about it, what a fantastic story! Well, either that or Oliver Twist, because little Oliver's plight just pulls at your very soul.

  24. The Woods by Harlan Coben. There are so many twists and turns in it even from chapter 2. Well worth a read if you like detective novels and still worth it even if you don't.
