My favorite waterproof eye pencil is the MAC Powerpoint Eyepencil- it lasts all day and doesn't smudge.

Mascara- I prefer Covergirl Lash Blast in waterproof because it doesn't flake off and it has a big fat applicator.

And to make your makeup stay on and not look like 'cake face' I'm assuming you are talking about foundations...really if you are applying them correctly none of them should look like that. So be sure to moisturize first and don't put too much on-less is more (ultra cheesy I know but true). The most important step in makeup it to have a good base. I use MAC Prep+Prime after moisturizing to keep my foundation in place all day. xo
