What is Technical Writing? I am taking this class this semster, but not really sure what it consist of. THX!?

The term "technical writing" is often used to describe writing for technical manuals, descriptions of how various technologies work, or writing about scientific topics. You'll learn how to "translate" an engineer's description of something into an understandable text. (Engineers might be great at making stuff work, but they're often horrible at explaining it to other people, or at writing about it.)

It's a useful skill to have if you're looking for a job as a writer--there's a lot of call for technical writers.
