  1. This is the speed an object reaches when air resistance equals the force pushing/pulling the object

    The term is normally used for falling objects.  Object is pulled by gravity at constant rate, eventually air resistance builds to the point the object no longer accelerates and reaches its terminal velocity.  

    For people thats somewhere between 180-220 mph in normal air, no matter how far you fall you can't go any faster, air just slows you down


  2. A free falling object achieves its terminal velocity when the downward force of gravity (Fg)equals the upward force of drag (Fd).

  3. It is the maximum speed or velocity that an object will reach in free fall. Humans about 274 km/h if I rememberer correctly.
