What is The Average IQ Score?

I have An IQ of 144 and i'm 16 just got 5 a and 6 bs in my gcses is this an average score?

Varies. It's supposed to be 100 but there are IQ scales that use 110 or 120 as average. 141 when I last got tested so I'm ficker van yoo ent I :-)

Its supposed to be 100. 144 is a really really good score. Did you revise for your gcse's. In theory the grades you got are really good but if you have an IQ of 144 you're kind of a genius and should get A*s.

The average is between 85-100 so yeah your IQ is pretty good. But if you did one of those free sites on-line they aren't as reliable as they say. But IQ tests don't really mean anything and they don't measure intelligence.

I did a real one and I got 129.

But with 5A's and 6B's is really clever. And they mean allot to your life, so Congratulations.

100 is average, 144 is like genius level intelligence, plus you get different results for different IQ tests you take, so it's not completely accurate.

There is no universal "average IQ", each test has its own average because tests may vary in difficulty. In general the average IQ of tests is around 100. In the last IQ exam I took I got something around 130, and in my GCSE's (I'm 16 also) I got 2 A*s, 5 As and a B and C. If I wanted to, I could have revised RE more (I dont think so ;p) and botherd to learn my French, but I decided that those GCSEs where both boring and usless in my future. I only focused on my Science (A*s) and maths (A).

I guess I got A's in my other subjects because i'm quite smart and found it eaiser than other people to answer my questions and learn things in my subject.

GCSE's are in no way related to someones intelligence. Bad GCSEs do not mean someones stupid, and good GCSEs do not mean someones smart, though they are related to an extent.

For GCSE's I care about I have a motto:

"If it's above a B, it's good enough for me"

For GCSEs I dont care about:

"If it's below a B, I just hope it's a C"

My IQ is 131 and I gained 3 A*s 5 As and a B at GCSE this year.
