I'm looking for a dog who is medium size, loves to swim, play frisbee, be cuddly, and just down right cute. And NOT a pure bread. I have no $$ for pure breed. Thanks!

  1. A lab or golden retriever.

  2. Bichon-Frise

  3. a golden retriver or a lab mix they love to swim and play and there meduim sized!

  4. If you are not getting a pure bred, than what you are going to get is called a "mutt".  There is nothing wrong at all with mutts.  They can be great companions.  That being said, you can't go looking for particular mutts.  There aren't particular traits which are associated to mutts.  However, the best thing for you would be a dog that is mixed with a Labrador retriever.

  5. well its sounds liek a lab or a lab mix maybe even a golden retreiver would work for you.

Go check out your local shelter

  6. border collie because they are energetic playful dogs who can be trained easily

  7. Adoption is the best thing to do, most people don't give away there pure breeds! Also there are so many pets in need.  www.petfinder.com is the best website. They give all the information you need...name, breed, personality, size, age, etc. Hope this helps.

  8. I totally agree with ?. We adopted a 5 mo old female Dachshund from the Somerset County Humane Society, via Petfinder.com. We'd been looking for weeks. I needed a quiet female to get along with the cats we already have. The staff there was fabulous, and paired us with our Ellie. She's placid, has been easy to train, and she and the cats are finding their way.

Good shelters get to know their pet clients. Jen at the SCHS knew her dogs, and scooped up the pup and basically said, "she's yours" (after screening us!) and it was love at first sight.

Let the staff get to know YOU, and figure out what your goals are in having a dog own you, first. You have some good ones up there, and the Humane Societies are there to help you find that dog.

    Good luck!

  9. You will find complete information about appearance health and temperament of different dog breeds at puppylounge.com. Here is the link : http://puppylounge.com/index.php?option=...

  10. Go to your local shelter and see what they have.

  11. Go to the pound. You asking which breed is right for me but you don't want a pure bred dog. No one knows what the personality of a mixed breed is like. You won't know if a mixed breed will like to swim and play frisbee until it swims and plays frisbee.

  12. Humane Society.

Ours always has lab and/or border collie mixes...both are fun, playful, cuddly and cute breeds!

  13. go to a shelter and oopt for a golden or lab mix
