I haven't seen the either movie yet and have only read the first 2 books but I'll try to help you.

Tibby's world view, that's a litte complicated.  I think she feels that the world isn't a fair place.  Especially after Bailey dies.

Her attuitude, well she's like a lot of kids, especially teens.  She doesn't know where she fits in in the world and as a result is often willing to do things that she regrets later so that she can fit in with the people she thinks are cool.  See Alex.

As far as personality, I  think she cares a lot more about people than they realize.  I also think that she's scared to show her vulnerable side which usually ends up creating the image of being gruff and negative.

Tibby is a very negative person, She looks on the world as a cruel place, However she is a great friend to the other travelling pants girls. Her attitude is a bit rebelish but she has big dreams to make her own films. She loves to film things in normal places. Overall Tibby is good unique friend that be a bit negative at times.

Shes quite brash and unsentimental.

She has a harsh view of the world, and it quite negative. However under her hard and stubborn exterior shes sensitive.

What is her world view?

Tibby has a very negative world view. In the first book she makes a documentary on the lameness of suburbanites. When she meets Bailey, she realizes that people are more than their outward appearances. In the second book, Tibby comes to terms with Bailey's death while she's at a summer film program. Tibby and Brian's relationship develops, and Tibby realizes that appearances aren't everything. In the third book, Tibby overcomes her fear of change and takes chances in her relationship with Brian. In the fourth book, Tibby breaks up with Brian after a pregnancy scare. I've only read this book once, but I think that she learns what love truly is.

What is her attitude like?

Tibby has a very sarcastic, slightly bitter attitude. She dislikes and mocks people who seem uncool, and spends a good amount of her time in the second book trying to be cool. When Katharine fractures her skull, Tibby realizes the downside to her apathy to life. She learns to embrace change and realizes how much she loves her family, no matter how much they annoy her.

What is her personality like?

Tibby is very sarcastic, and artistic. She loves her family and friends with all her heart, although she tries to hide it. Tibby has a tough exterior but is a real softie on the inside.
