  1. it basically works the same way as oxy but its weaker and less addictive. tramadol might work a little better though for neuropathic type pains because of its serotonin altering properties

jade it has no absolutely no anti-inflammatory properties, its an opiod agonist just like morphin, oxycodone, etc. its just not classified as a narcotic because it has a lower addiction potential though it really probably should be.

  2. Neither.  It primarily inhibits the reuptake of serotonin and norephinephrine.  It slightly bind the opiate receptors- like thousands of times less than oxycontin or percocet.  Oxycontin and percocet strongly bind opiate receptors.  That's a part of the reason why the laws are so much stricter over oxycontin and percocet versus tramadol

By the way, oxycontin and percocet are the same thing.  Oxycontin only contains oxycodone while percocet contains oxycodone and tylenol.

  3. It's generic Ultram...just a little stronger than Motrin, used most of the time for inflammation....NOT A NARCOTIC......

    Prescription only
