What is Tylenol Three?

Anyone ever taken tylenol 3? Had a spinal tap yesterday and in severe pain today so the doctor called it in for me. What does it do?

My advice is save some and take about 2. Youll feel great for the rest of the day

It's tylenol with codeine.  It's supposed to help with apain, but it never helped do anything for me, just made me a little sleepy.  It might take the edge off.

I've taken Tylenol 3 before and it's basically just tylenol but with codeine. It's a stronger version of regular Tylenol and it will take away your pain better than the normal tylenol.

Tylenol #3 is a combination drug.  It is tylenol combined with codeine.    500 mg. of Acetaminophen,30 mg. of codeine. Treats mild to moderate pain

It's used with mild to moderate pain. It's a bit stronger than regular Tylenol. It's used for headaches, dental pain, muscle pain, pain after an accident, PMS pain, pain after an operation, and to reduce fever. It has the same basic ingredients as Tylenol, but since you said your pain is severe, that's probably why your doctor recommended it.
