What is UCLA's personal statement prompts for the Fall 2009 applicants?

These should be the personal statement prompts for Fall 2009, it's the same as the prompts last year, but i highly doubt they would change it caused they should have done that already and changes only occur after about 5 years, and last year was the first year for these prompts. The application isn't open for Fall 2009 until Nov 1 2008, and closes on Nov 30 2008. That doesn't stop you from starting earlier cause what you do is pretty much copy and paste your personal statement into a given text box anyways.

Prompt #1 (freshman applicants)

    Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

    

Prompt #1 (transfer applicants)

    What is your intended major? Discuss how your interest in the subject developed and describe any experience you have had in the field — such as volunteer work, internships and employment, participation in student organizations and activities — and what you have gained from your involvement.

    

Prompt #2 (all applicants)

    Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are?
