What is US Navy Basic Training like?

and How often do people enlist in the Navy after getting college degrees?

That is what I am thinking about.

Okay, if you sign up with a college degree you will become an officer, they ask that when you sign up. And I m in DEP right now. You have to be physically ready going to bootcamp. Running, situps and pushups are part of your PT test before you can even get into bootcamp. http://www1.netc.navy.mil/nstc/rtcgl/rec... this is the website for the physical standards. navy basic is simple.you go and every week for a couple months you graduate and go to a new class.everything is done indoors and is not as tough as other boot camps.it dose not last long but it seems as if it does.youll end up thinking about everyything while ther which could add pressure.theres quite a bit of yelling and screaming at you you just have to man up and take it but its not a huge deal at all.

It was easier than h**l when I went in during the 1970's; Hear tell it's so easy now it's almost disappointing. Also, those who sign up with college degrees under their belts generally become officers.

Also, a lot of people enlist in the Navy with college degrees, they also get bigger bonuses. And if you have a good high enough GPA you can sign up and become an Officer.

I would again recommend going to the website, introducing yourself and asking the questions you wish to have answered by professional Navy personnel.
