What is Ukraine's stance in the Russia/Georgia skirmish?

Aren't Ukraine and Georgia dedicated allies? Do they think Georgia's sovereignty is being violated?

Russia is a terrible aggressor. They do everything to destroy Georgia and punish them for their pro-western course. This is all to stop it from joining NATO because they believe Georgia and other ex-ussr countries still "belong" to them. This is all happening in XXI century. That is what European appeasement brings. If Georgia falls, ukraine is next. Maybe with not war not some other nasty thing.

I can assure you that Ukraine is watching very very closely to how this is unfolding because, if Russia succeeds in reclaiming those Georgia provinces, then they know they could be in danger of furture attacks.

Hopefully Ukraine is gearing up to help spank the Russian bear. Putin and Russia need a good whooping. They are causing way to much trouble in the world.

They have to be at the ready.  It is a scary time for the former states of Russia.  Where's NATO?  What are Bush and Putin discussing at the Olympics?
