I will be flying from LAX-SFO on United and I'm not sure if I should pay an extra $14 to fly Economy Plus one way. Is sitting in a better coach section worth my money on a 1 and 1/2 hour flight?

Please describe to me in the most detail as possible of United's Economy Plus seats. What are the features of the seat and is it really much difference from regular economy seating. Inform me of every detail you know about the economy plus seat. I am very curious in knowing. Thanks!

  1. There are no features, the only difference is more leg room, i don't suggest doing it.

  2. The only difference between economy and economy plus is that there is extra leg room.  It's also nice to be at the front (or closer to the front) of the plane.  For $14, I think it's worth it.

  3. The seats are identical to the standard coach seats, with two differences:

    1. They are located at the front of the economy class cabin

    2. The pitch between rows is further apart

  4. Do it! Definitely worth it.

Check out united.com and see for yourself.

  5. If you are tall (over 6' 2") or have really long legs, do it.  The seats are the same as their regular coach seats but have an extra few inches of legroom.
