Harding was from Ohio and was a United States Senator before he was elected President and Calvin Coolidge was the Governor of Massachusetts before he became the 29th Vice President of the United States.

Warren G. was a bit of dog. He liked chasing the ladies and died while in the company of a gal who was not his wife.

Yup, he died out in San Francisco after a trip to Alaska. At the time, the big rumor was that Harding was poisoned by his wife to cover up a series of scandals, not just the affair and out-of-wedlock child, but also major bribery and corruption.

Believe it or not, Warren was considered very handsome, was a darling of Women's groups because he supported Women's Suffrage despite running around on his wife.

Nice to know some things never change.

"Silent" Calvin Coolidge was his VP, so named because he rarely had anything to say. Cal was a real New Englander: percise, frugal, self-sacrificing, and in contrast to me, of few words.
