learn to use the mighty google. basically Web 2.0 is a way of describing the high rise of social web sites such as digg and de.lic.ious. and the like. it is also used as a mocking term to describe the ludicrous non-proper english names that abound on startups today, such as Flickr (no "e"). Along with that mocking it goes towards a certain web page design, well known with rounded corners and clean, fresh designs.
