Does it mean I can get free wireless internet , wherever I go or get close to the wirless interent source.

  1. You will see ALL the dsl signals within 200 feet of your computer.

    Someone is paying for that dsl.

    Whether you 'piggyback' on some one else's DSL is up to you.


  2. Yes, if the wireless internet source is not password protected.  You can use it at many restaurants that advertise wireless.  Many hotels too.

  3. only when you are within range of a wireless internet hub (hotspot) e.g. a home hub or cafe, some will be encrypted, meaning you will need a password to access them

  4. All it means is that your laptop is wireless compatible. Meaning if you have access to a wireless network or an open signal then yes you can log on to the web. Key is you have to have access to a wireless signal.

    IE. WIFI
