what is it and how do you get it on your ipod touch? is it for free?

Wi-Fi is free you need to find an Access point though and you need to be in range make sure wi fi is turned on too

Wi-Fi is internet just like you have on your computer it is free as long as you have a Wi-Fi access point. To get it in your house you need a wireless router. Then to turn on the Wi-Fi, go to settings, Wi-Fi connection, and turn on Wi-Fi on. Once it's on, you should start looking for a network, find yours and then tap it. If you have a password then type it in and once you do that you have access to iTunes music store and the internet!
