What is X23's age when she becomes friends with Rachel Summers/ Marvel Girl?

By the first time she comes to live at the Xavier Institute She has developed bonds with roommates Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers and has formed a solid bond with Psylocke. When this happens how old is X23?

In X-Men 165 (when Laura briefly becomes roommates with Rachel and Kitty), Laura is about 16 years old.     She's 15 in Target X, and X-Men 165 takes place about a year later.    

Kitty and Rachel are several years older.  Kitty is approximately 21-22.  Rachel should be 23-24 (slightly younger than Rogue).  However, since Claremont wrote her character so much younger when she returned as Marvel Girl, it's been theorized that while trapped in the time stream, she did not age.  So, that would make her about same age as Kitty now (21-22).
