choices make a man a man.  When you are old enough to make choices that are right and true in most situations you are a man.  Standing up for his family.  Working hard to make sure they have what they need .  If this is a younger person that means taking care of his Mother if need be. A boy can be a man in lots of cases. And on the other hand men sometimes never grow up to be real men they never get to the point of taking care of anyone not even themselves.
