What is YOUR favorite dress...

Question

I guess I am just taking a little pole. What is your favorite dress...money not being an object. I swear I just don't have a certain "style"... these are some of the ones I like, but I would like to see what other people love (ed) too!

I just feel like I will never be able to decide. There doesn't seem to be much of a trend. Wondering how other people feel (or felt)

I love the first and second dresses.

You wont know which dress is YOUR dress, though, until you try them on.

My favorite gown is the one I am going to wear (yeah, kind of biased  :-)    )    It is Nadine by Maggie Sottero.  http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?...   I am in love with the fabric.  

Out of the links you posted I like the fourth one the best.

I like the second one just because the trail thing is a little more fuller, and I think you it will look really pretty as you are walking down the aisle...

I love the 4th one.

I really love the top parts on dresses 1 and 3, but I think the bottoms look a bit puffy and are very trendy right now so will date in a few years time.

The first three resemble each other.

But the last one is just breathtaking and makes me wish I were getting married all over again.

The last one is my favorite- it accentuates a slim waist.  I also like the first one- very pretty!  But, I don't think it would look that great on a "real" body.  You would have to be pretty skinny to pull it off.

I like the 3rd and the 4th one. They are both quite stunning. Alot of it comes down to body shape. I was having trouble deciding so I went to a bridal shop and tried on about 6 of the dresses. They were all amazing gowns but half of them looked ridiculous on me because they just weren't right for my body shape. I am slender but I have wider hips and broad shoulders so I looked better with a fuller skirt and straps. I would suggest that trying a few different gowns on (and different fabrics and colours too) will help you decide.

I agree with most of the others, the second one you listed is just beautiful! The pickup skirts are just icky.

I like the first one.  Look at this one too.  I like it because it is classic yet fresh and modern looking.  I have a fear of looking back at my wedding photos and wondering "WHAT IN THE HECK WAS I THINKING?" So I am trying to get a classic look.

i really don't like the ruffles on the first dress or the third dress.

i like the second one and the fourth one, but it depends on if you like strapless or with straps.

personally, i would like to see my girl coming down the aisle in #2. it's a great dress.

Wow - just love the second one you have there!  (Always been a fan of halter-necks!)

Here is one I am in love with at the moment... I just love the line of the dress and how it falls... I wouldn't wear it myself as I don't have the body for it... but still love it...

I used to feel like I would never be able to decide, then I saw 'the dress' - two years before we would even begin to start planning it. Then I lost the picture and couldn't find it for two years. I finally found it again. It's way out of my price range, but I'm getting a dressmaker to do a gown 'in the style of' this one.

My favorite is the second one (at houseofbrides.com), mainly because it has that dramatic touch to it. The train gives it that look and I also love the design of the bodice. Overall it's simple, but elegant.

However, it is YOUR decision that matters, so whatever you go with, I am sure it will look terrific on you!

I actually like the house of brides selection the best.

Mostly because my daughter is wearing a Davids Bridal strapless and is terrified that it is going to fall down before she hits the Alter.

The sort of Halter tie on the House of Brides dress, which is almost identical to her Davids Bridal dress, except for the straps, will prevent you from panicking that your dress will fall down.

And the simple elegance of the dress is stunning!

It never hurts to try on all of the dresses, though. You may find that you fall in love with a gown that you may have never dreamed of picking.
