  1. The only intelligent answer that I have is that I'm not to fond of either one of the candidates that's running for the Oval Office!

  2. Obama has no American values whatsoever. McCain has all the American values, plus a lot more. Obama is pro-choice. McCain is pro-life. If the next President in 2008 wants to save lives, they need to make abortion illegal. On average, we lose 73 U.S. soldiers per day in Iraq but 4,000 unborn babies murdered in the United States. Per day worldwide, there are 120,000 unborn babies murdered. There are 1,460,000 babies in the United States aborted/murdered each year and there are 43,800,000 worldwide. So if our next President really wants to preserve life, he will make abortion illegal all across the board. McCain is against g*y marriage and that is another big bonus in my vote for McCain in the 2008 Presidential election.

Bottom line: If you want your country going to h**l in 2008 and further, vote Obama.

  3. Good question. Well, I wouldn't say Mccain is the best canidate, but it's better then the having world most liberal man running the country and jacking up our taxes, socializing medicine, or as some would say f***ing with our healthcare system, raising prices of gas due to the fact that he is going to tax oil companies, and not let us dig on our own land for oil!

  4. The Dem side has been very entertaining.  They have shown how undemocratic they are by having 735 super delegates that are the real "deciders".  And as far as rules, rules spules, who needs them they just get in the way.

Republicans are still waiting for the paint to dry, boring!

I hope the debates get interesting because the two parties have picked two sub-prime candidates.

  5. Vote McCain: Its that simple

  6. No one has impressed me terribly.

  7. On the race itself? I think that it's overpublicized and it's really getting on my nerves. Campaigns are not supposed to last a year and a half.

But, as far as candidates go, I'm going to have to go with Obama. McCain represents the status quo (more so than Obama, anyway), and if it's possible to make a change, I'm going to go with it. I agree with his outlook on economic issues, if not social ones, and his environmental stance is better than Obama's.

  8. McCain is going to continue the policies of America the world superpower with the super military and super economy

Globalization has completely changed the way the world works.  Obama's economic policies and foreign policies correspond with this... it means negotiating with allies and enemies, and responding to outsourcing and windfall profits

For those who say obama has not substance.... read The Audacity of Hope... you'll get his view on every major issue.  If you don't feel like reading the book just go on wikipedia or something... the argument that he has no substance is not valid

It doesn't matter if the president is pro choice or pro life... congress makes the decisions on that issue anyway...

what it comes down to is who has the best economic and foreign policy for a changing world.  And I'm sorry, but McCain is just not the right guy for america right now.  If we were in the middle of WWII i would vote for him, b/c he knows militaristically what he's doing

but we're in a war we need to get out of... because according to our current president "it's already over"..

I believe this election is more important and is a defining one for the future of the country.  I ask americans to think rationally, don't make decisions on rumors or blind faith.... pick the president who can adjust our country to a changing world.

  9. I dunno at this point.

Obama..if you have noticed stutters ALOT through speeches and questions.  Now he might do that because he is nervous..but it makes me wonder if he really has a plan.

I don't like McCain.  I think we need something different than a republican.  I think Obama COULD bring alot of change, if what he says is true.

It's just so hard to tell right now.  I want to see Obama and McCain actually have a debate.  It would be VERY interesting.

  10. i hate the fact that our next president will be mccain or obama. The Patriot Party Hates both candidates solutions and we hope for the '12 election we have a Patriot run for office..

  11. I'm 20 years old, so this will be my first time voting for the president; that being said and considering the political climate today, I cannot wait to vote.  It's an exciting time, and the issues are hitting everyone closely (the war, the economy).  I do not know many people who currently support George W. Bush, and the impression I've received (and feel) is that, with the new president, we can only go up from here.

  12. OBAMA WILL LIKELY SWEEP MCCAIN'S DOUBLE TALK EXPRESS OFF THE STREETS IN 08. THAT'S RIGHT, TIME TO RETIRE JOHNNY.

  13. TOO MUCH NEGATIVE, DEROGATORY CAMPAIGNING AND I HAVE NOT MADE UP MY MIND WHO I SUPPORT. I WISH CAMPAIGN REFORM WOULD HAVE REALLY WORKED. IT SEEMS TO HAVE GOTTEN WORSE WITH THESE 527s. I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT IF YOU CAN'T SAY ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT SOMEONE, YOU DON'T SAY ANYTHING. TOO BAD THAT AXIOM IS NOT FOLLOWED TODAY AND THESE CAMPAIGNS WOULD ENTER A GROWNUP PHASE AND LEAVE THEIR CHILDISHNESS BEHIND FOREVER.

  14. Most important is energy policy.  Thats what will decide my vote.

So far each has given a good policy that includes renewable energy and diversification of energy and less reliance on oil from the middle east.

But I read an article by world-respected author Thomas Friedman yesterday that points out that McCain has withheld his vote in the last eight votes on renewable energy.  And McCain runs TV ads showing him in front of wind turbines that produce wind energy.  What a fake.

Looks like Obama is my choice.
