Comprehensive Energy Plan To Lower Gasoline Prices

This is how we will do it. And this why we will do it.

This country has so much under used industrial capacity in our Auto Plants, Airplane Plants, Steel Plants and Electronics Plants to make America Energy Independent in 2 to 5 years. We can build enough windmills and solar power and wave generation energy plants to replace 90% of all of the electricity generated by COAL and NATURAL GAS.

For under $400 Billion we could build 400,000 windmills.

The Coal and Natural Gas saved by Green Replaceable Elecrrical Generation can now be used to make fuel for cars, trucks, busses, boats and airplanes, and or plastics, chemicals, fertilizers and pharmacuticals.

We need a comprehensive plan that puts America back to work in endeavors that benefit 99% of America.

  1. Bomb the OPEC nations!!!

  2. What does that have to do with gas prices you are talking about electricity production.  The only way to lower gas prices is to drill in this country and get more oil on the market and build more refineries.

  3. If your ideas were cost-effective, the capitalists would jump all over them.

Say what you want about American Industrialists, but they are not stupid.  The market, if left alone, would do those things if they worked better--thus saving money for the consumer.

  4. Open up previously off limits areas to drilling,  Remove the red tape preventing the expansion and building of refineries, build coal to oil conversion plants to take advantage of our abundnace of coal.  That is how you lower gas prices until a good alternative can be found and implemented.

It will take awhile for an alternative, once it is found, to be implemented and put into widespread use.  In the interm, this would help keep prices at affordable levels for people.

  5. All those windmills will affect the wind patterns and contribute significantly to climate change.

The wind transfers heat from the surface of the earth and raises it to higher altitudes where the heat radiates out into space. Building too many windmills will adversly affect the natural benefits provided by wind.

If we cover the entire surface of the planet with windmills there still won't be enough energy to produce the hydrogen or battery charging power needed to replace gasoline.

The only way out of the present fuel problem is to find a way to synthetically produce hydro carbons in a much shorter period than the thousands of years used in natural processes.
