  1. Dublin's definitely worth a visit if you're coming here.

    It is quite expensive,yes.

People are generally friendly in Ireland, but there are certain stereotypes in Dublin that I wouldn't call friendly..but most people are.

June is a perfect time to visit, lovley weather and festivals etc..

    Good Luck!

  2. hello i live in dublin and i just have to say that dublin is a nice place....people are friendly and at night time the city is gorgeous...it might be a bit epensive if your not from ireland and  sometimes people can be a bit arrogant but other than that its a lovely city

  3. Dublin, and all of Ireland - is gorgeous!  The people are very friendly.  I'm an American and wherever I went, people heard my accent and just came up and started talking to me.  A lot of Irish people have relatives in the U.S.  Expensive?  Well...the Irish economy is doing very well these days so I'd say kind of.  Still there are lots of options to travel on a budget.   Check out everything you can find online.  Here's a website for the Irish Tourist Board to get started

  4. Yes, worth a visit, fairly pricey depending on what you are used to. The people overall are friendly, encountered some vague anti-Americanism from one or two people, but it wasn't anything at all, I wouldn't worry. They might have just hated tourists, polite or not :) Every country has some like that. Not a big deal.

Had a great time, will be going back again.

The Summer is very crowded, but the weather is good. Dress in light layers. Tons to do,..do some research to see what appeals to your taste (get a basic tour guide) and definitely read up on the history - otherwise you won't know what you are looking at.

  5. I'm going on a tour there in the 09 summer.. The pictures look absolutely amazing, and I've heard great things.. I hear the people are very friendly.. kinda out there, but in a good way! June is good from what I've heard, too..  Are you doing a tour? Here's a few good websites to get you started if you are!
