  1. 2.86 is somewhere between a B- and a B. Typically schools use a scale like this:

    A=4.0

    A-=3.7

    B+=3.4

    B=3.0

    B-=2.7

    C+=2.4

    C=2.0

    C-=1.7

    D+=1.4

    D=1.0

    and you know what E's and F's are worth.

    To figure it out, take your grades (say you got 2 A's, 3 B's, and a C+), and add their numerical value together. (4.0+4.0+3.0+3.0+3.0+2.7=19.7) then divide by the number of grades you have (19.7/6=3.28)

  2. I have a 3.3 and I get all B+'s in my core classes and A's in the minor ones.

    Im guessing its like a C.

  3. thats a C+

  4. they should have it in your assignment notebook. i think it's in the C range. it varies for different schools and states. i think.

  5. B- to C+

  6. Usually a 4.0 is an A, 3.0-3.9 is a B, 2.0-2.9 is a C, and after that it depends on your school. My school didn't have Ds, so anything lower than a 2.0 was an F. I imagine if you have Ds then 1.0-1.9 is a D, and an F is a zero.

    A 2.86 is a high C, probably a C+ if you have the plus minus system.
