What is a 32 note maximum polyphony?

Question

I am looking at a new keyboard, and i am not exactly piano "savvy". I am guessing this means the most notes you can play at once, but i honestly don't have a clue. Please help. Thanks.

Yup, you're right. 32 notes together (not necessarily all at once...if they were played at different times but all sustained, adding a 33rd note will not work)
