  1. It is a name made up by Sir Thomas More (of Henry the 8th fame) for his ideal state, which he describes in the book of the same name, and has been used to describe any supposedly perfect society or place. More's joke was that Utopia, from the Greek can mean a good place, or a place that does not exist!

If you actually read his 'Utopia' it sounds more like a fascist police state to me! (So Utopia is really a distopia!)

  2. It's a perfect world/society. Originally the name of an island in a work by Sir Thomas Moore, it literally means "nowhere/ no place"

  3. A paradise, but it literally means 'no place'

  4. Its used to describe something almost unrealistic in the society.

Its often refered to as a pejorative content, as it is described by wikipedia.

  8. its where i go in my dreams the perfect place of love and peace

  9. It is a group of organized and coherent ideas about how to improve quality of life in society, but it is not possible, it is not real, because some of the aspects have not been considered.

  10. A perfect society or world.
