What is a: A.A. Professional Designation for Interior Design [link available]?

I want to go to this college

But I dont get what it is exactly. The tuition seems fair, but I'm not sure if its better to go to THAT SCHOOL or to the Art Insitiute?

please help. I need to plan this.

Well I'm not sure if you're a high school student or a college graduate, but the professional designation degrees are for people who either have a degree from FIDM or from another college and they want another speciality to add onto their existing degree.

If you are in high school, I would look into the Associates of Arts program for Interior Design at FIDM.

One thing that makes FIDM stand out above other schools is not only their list of impressive graduates and all of their accomplishments, but the background of the instructors and the school's creditals.

FIDM is accredited by NASAD (National Association of Schools of Art and Design). This is very important (especially for your major) because this tells you that the program is accredited by an organization made up of industry professionals who make sure that the program is up to speed with the industry. Also, with the faculty still working in their fields, this also ensures that you're being taught the latest information about your field!

Compared to other schools who have teachers who've been teaching for so many years, that they have NO CLUE about their field nor about the latest changes! Everything changes so much today and teachers MUST keep up for their sake of their students!

If you want more information about the interior design program at FIDM and the degrees offered, I would talk to an advisor. They are very knowledgable about the school and all the programs.
