  1. It's like fuedlism on a national scale.

  2. Communism is a form of government where the state is under a one-party system and declares allegiance to Marxism-Leninism. Communist states may have several legal political parties, but the Communist Party is constitutionally guaranteed a dominant role in government. Consequently, the institutions of the state and of the Communist Party become intimately entwined. In Communist nations all industry, agriculture, basically anything that earns or produces anything is owned by the government.

Examples of Communist Countries are Cuba, the Soviet Union, China (although it follows a different school of thought called Maoism, which is an offshoot of communism.)

  5. A communist government is a dictatorship where everything is controlled from the top down.  The government analyzes and classifies its people and puts them where it thinks is best.  They decide where you work, and they impose equal pay for everyone.  The means of production and consumption are controlled by the state, ideally it would produce an equal society that functioned like clockwork.

China is the best example of a communist government, but their economic model is somewhat capitalist now.  I can't think of a purely communist government, the former USSR was the best example.
